Materials:
  • Ikea's Grönö Lamp
  • negatives
  • Mod Podge
  • foam brush
  • scissors

Methods:
  1. First, make sure you do NOT attach the lampshade to the hardware. You just want the cover and nothing else.
  2. Take your negatives and measure either horizontally or vertically (depending on how you will paste it on) then cut off any extra, creating pieces that fit perfectly on to the lampshade.
  3. Using your foam brush, brush on an even coating of Mod Podge onto the lampshade.
  4. Place your strips of negatives onto the shade until it's entirely covered. Run your finger over all the negatives to make sure they're firmly placed.
  5. Add a few more layers of Mod Podge over the negatives. If the negatives keep coming off, put an elastic band around the lampshade to hold down the negatives until it has thoroughly dried.
  6. Allow to dry and assemble the lamp.
